After 20 years in a business environment, I retrained as a counsellor - not only to fulfil my own needs, but also to explore the crossover between personal and professional relationships and the impact they can have.
I believe everyone is capable of great change.
My role is to facilitate that.
Counselling can be challenging and uncomfortable at times. My role is to support you through your exploration, giving you opportunities to consider new perspectives, and learn new coping mechanisms.
We may discover issues from the past that influence how you navigate life today; exploring these can help give meaning to those past experiences and enable you to approach future opportunities with a different mindset.
Don't wait. If you need help, I am here to listen.
I will encourage you to be curious about your experiences, feelings, emotions and reactions. This will enable you to explore what is happening within yourself and your relationships and create a new understanding and response. Change can be almost immediate, or it may take time. Either way I will be there to guide you, to listen and to understand.
I am trained as an integrative therapist; this means I can draw on a range of humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive theories that can be tailored to your individual needs, creating a bespoke therapeutic experience.
